On the South Eastern main line between London and Dover, Ashford has been a major railway centre for over 170 years and is the junction between five routes with frequent services of passenger trains.
This simulation is based on the layout in the days of steam. As all trains are loco-hauled the operating is considerably more complicated than in more recent times. With the movement of locos to and from the loco shed and of coaching stock to and from the carriage sidings this is a fascinating and challenging simulation.
This is a companion to the Ashford (Kent) simulation, which is set in the 1980's. One registration is valid for both simulations.
