The signalbox at New Hucknall Sidings was located on the ex-Great
Central Railway main line between Nottingham and Chesterfield. It was
the junction for mineral branches serving New Hucknall, South Normanton
and Blackwell Collieries.
There are sidings on both sides of the main line for the handling of the colliery traffic with the associated light loco movements and (a new feature of the simulation) the attaching and detaching of Brake Vans.
The 1953 timetable features mostly ex-LNER steam loco classes and covers a full 24 hours.
New Hucknall Sidings is one of our Heritage Series simulations.
