Leicester Central was an important station on the former Great Central Railway's main line, linking Nottingham with London Marylebone. This fine simulation recreates the time between 1948 and 1965 when the line was still busy with a lot of freight traffic, including coal and fish trains, as well steam-hauled expresses and stopping services.
In addition there was a lot of movement to and from the loco shed and the goods yard and sidings which are part of the simulation. The fully detailed timetable is for 1953 and includes loco details for all 400 train movements.
