Near the western tip of Cornwall, Penzance station is situated on the sea wall near the harbour. It is the western terminus of the Great Western line, over 300 miles from London Paddington.
This fine simulation is based on the layout of tracks and signals as it was in the 1950's.
The timetable is for Summer 1959, with ex-GWR steam locos very much in evidence although also some 'Warship' diesel locos working through to Penzance.
