Rugby Central, roughly midway along the Great Central Main Line between London and Sheffield, was a simple station with a modest track layout, so this is a fairly easy Heritage simulation.
A lot of the traffic is freight, including lengthy coal trains. Express passenger services stopped at Rugby Central and local services originated here, to Aylesbury, Woodford Halse to the South, and Leicester Central or Nottingham Victoria to the North.
The Barby sidings serving a military storage depot south of Rugby are included.
